Today we decided we would be real, functioning human beings. Woo! So we decided to walk around and explore the neighborhood around Ben's apartment. Within 5 minutes we found: Einstein bros bagels, a bicycle shop where we can rent bikes, an accupuncturist, a yoga studio, and a CHIPOTLE! Oh and a liquor store....but we already sniffed that one out yesterday. I am never leaving!
After breakfast at Einstein's we decided to explore some more and went to the liquor store where we got some local wine for dinner tonight! We also got some local beer, Denver is the capital of craft beer and so far we've tried Fat tire and Breckenridge Brewery's Vanilla porter. Both. Amazing.
We also went to the grocery store and got things to make for dinner tonight: surprise Ben! And then... when we were walking back, you know, very proud of our successful grownup day, we make it back to the apartment. They key fob didn't work so some random woman and her very loud but adorable Jack Russell, Bob, let us in. As we trek up to the 3rd floor with our groceries in hand, something seems different but we don't pay attention to it. Well, we reach the apartment number that Ben lives at and after about 2 minutes of swiping the key fob and scratching our heads... someone who was NOT Ben opens the door and stares at us until we run away laughing.
Just our luck. As Vicki would say: OOPS!
and now we're doing hw in the library until Ben gets back from work. #boredhousewifeproblems
stay high frenz,
